Golden Angle

The golden angle is about 137.508°. When each new point turns by this angle, points avoid lining up into obvious spokes, producing efficient natural packing.

Fibonacci Growth

Fibonacci spirals approximate growth by expanding through squares whose side lengths follow 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13… The ratio approaches φ.

Sunflowers

Seed heads often show visible spiral families in Fibonacci counts. The pattern emerges from local growth rules, not from drawing literal Fibonacci numbers.
